tiqline is a process SLA monitoring tool: it turns events from Shopify and your own systems into one case per piece of work, gives every step a time limit and alerts you in Slack or by email when a step runs over.
Use cases: catch late orders and stuck processes before your customers do
tiqline follows each order, return or other piece of work from step to step. Every step can have a time limit. When a case waits on a step longer than that, tiqline marks it stuck and sends one message to Slack, by email or to a webhook for all the cases waiting there. The pages below show this for typical e-commerce processes, each with a worked example and the limits of what tiqline does.
What all use cases have in common
Each use case is a process: an event that opens a case, such as Order Paid, the steps that should follow, and a limit per step, such as packed within 4 hours. Events come from Shopify, where tiqline reads eight order, fulfilment and refund topics, or from your own systems through the track API in the Segment and RudderStack format. tiqline builds the cases from the events it stores, so a new process also covers the orders that are already under way.
How to pick the right page
If you run a Shopify shop and want to start with orders, begin with Shopify order monitoring. If a warehouse or 3PL ships for you, the 3PL page shows how its own events join the Shopify ones. If your deadlines differ per warehouse or channel, read the page on time limits per warehouse and channel. If the process is not about orders at all, the page on business process SLAs covers prescriptions, applications and other cases. And if you would rather describe the process than click it together, set it up with an AI agent.
Shopify order monitoring
Follow every Shopify order from payment to shipping and get an alert when one stops on a step longer than you allow.
Stuck order alerts
See which orders are stuck, on which step and since when, with one alert for every step that passes its limit.
Business process SLA monitoring
Give every step of a business process its own time limit and get alerted when a case runs over, whatever system the step lives in.
Overdue order alerts
One alert per overdue step in Slack, by email or as a webhook, with the limit, the waiting orders and a resolved message when they move again.
3PL fulfillment monitoring
Put a time limit on every step between Shopify and your 3PL, from hand-over to shipment, and hear about orders that wait there.
Returns and refunds monitoring
Follow every return from request to refund, with a time limit for arrival, inspection and refund, and an alert when one waits too long.
Time limits per warehouse and channel
One process with different deadlines per warehouse, sales channel or country: a branch picks the path, each path has its own limits.
Set up with an AI agent
Describe your process to Claude, ChatGPT or Grok; through tiqline's MCP server the agent builds the steps, the limits and the alerts.
tiqline monitors process SLAs and is not one of the classic product-analytics tools.
Questions about tiqline's use cases
What does tiqline monitor?
The steps of a process you define. The step that opens a case has no limit; each later step can have one. When a case stays on a step past its limit, tiqline marks it stuck and alerts once for all the cases waiting there.
How do events get in?
You connect a Shopify shop, or you send events through the track API, one at a time or in a batch. A repeated event is counted once.
Where do alerts go?
To one Slack channel, by email to up to 20 addresses, or to a webhook. Each message names the process, the step and its limit, and links to the cases.
Does tiqline only work with Shopify?
No. Shopify is connected directly, and any other system can send events through the track API, including warehouse software, a 3PL portal, a returns tool or your own backend.
Can an AI agent set this up?
Yes. Claude, ChatGPT and Grok connect to tiqline's MCP server through OAuth, and the agent can create the process, set the limits and connect alerts. Every plan includes the audit log, including Free. Publishing a process, changing a time limit and connecting Slack or email are written to it.
What does it cost to start?
The free plan includes 5,000 events a month. When it is used up, events are still stored, but alerts pause for the rest of the month, and an alert that falls into that time is not sent later.
